Import image from PACS failed

What is it?

This article aims to explain the steps to take after failure to import images from PACS to Promap.

Having a failure to import images from PACS can be linked to the type of image not supported by the software or a bad configuration of the PACS.

How to investigate?

  1. If the serie can be imported but not read, maybe this article will be more helpful.
  2. Try to load other series.
  3. Check the PACS configuration with the help of this article. Especially, go in Maintenance Account > Connectivity and check:

    1. "AETitle" of the system and the PACS

    2. "Port" of the system and the PACS

    3. "IP address" of the system and the PACS
    4. Do a Ping/Check test

  4. Retrieve the log files following those steps.
  5. Open a customer request via this form. Report the frequency of the issue, whether if loading other series from the PACS worked, and the result of the Ping/Check test.

 How to solve?

Usually, the issue comes from a compatibility issue, or a bad PACS configuration:

    • On the Trinity system: from Maintenance account > Connectivity, change the settings.
    • On the PACS side, please contact directly the IT of the hospital.

The final diagnosis will be made by the Koelis Service team, who will contact you quickly.
