What is it?
This article aims to explain the steps to take after a failure to import images from CD to Promap.
How to investigate?
- If the content of the CD can be imported but not read, maybe this article will be more helpful.
- Try to import the content of another CD.
If it works, go to step 4. If it doesn't work, go to step 3. - Go to the admin account and see if the CD reader (E:) is recognised by the system. If so, go to step 4. If not, the CD reader might be defective. Go to step 5.
- Import the images of the defective CD from another source:
- Use of PACS. Usually the PACS can solve most compatibility issues.
- Use of USB stick: insert the CD in any computer, copy all the patient data without the DICOMDIR file and transfer them in the USB stick.
- Retrieve the log files following those steps.
- If possible, retrieve the whole content of the CD and transfer it to the Koelis team via the customer request.
- Open a customer request via this form.
How to solve?
Depending on the investigations, the solutions can be various: changing the format of the MRI to make it readable by Koelis systems, using the PACS or a USB stick, or changing the CD reader.
The final diagnosis will be made by Koelis Service team, they will come back to you quickly.
