What is it?
This article will explain the steps to follow after getting an error message "Windows is not responding".
This error message is displayed when the system is lagging. This kind of issue is mainly due to too much processing from the system (importing too many MRI series for example).
How to investigate?
- When the error message is displayed, do not end the process of Promap application. Doing that will close Promap application with no solution.
- Click on "Wait for the program to respond". Wait 5 minutes and the application should run normally again.
- If waiting for the program to respond did not worked, restart the Promap application by logging off (press CTRL+ALT+DEL with a keyboard and select "Log off" or "Sign out").
If you don't have access to a keyboard, press for a few seconds the power button on the side of the central unit. - Retrieve the logs of PROMAP following those steps.
- Open a customer request via this form. Attach the logs to the form.
How to solve?
Usually, waiting for the program to respond or restarting the application will solve the issue.
