When a central unit should be changed how to proceed to recover the patient database and install it after on the new one ?

Context :

A Central unit (CU) should be changed. How to proceed before the change to save the database and installed it on the new one ?

How to proceed ?

  • Turn On the Trinity with the defective central unit
  • Launch Maintenance account and select the backup section.
  • Plug an USB stick and select this device to export the database. Click on then Save.
  • A pop-up window opened to confirm a new repertory creation. The export can take up time, if the patient database was importante.
  • On the USB stick, a file named 2602 was created, contained all patient data.

You can now turn OFF the Trinity and follow the instructions linked to replace a CU

After the replacement, follow these instructions to import the patient database:

  • Launch Maintenance account and select the Distributor account.
    • Distributor password:  Koelis3DMapping

A password will be requested to access on this account, communicated during your training

  • On backup section, the Restore function was available. Plug your USB stick and select the patient database.
  • Click on restore and wait.

The restoration of patient database could take up a long time if the installed base was important.

Once the CU replacement was done, you can now complete the IFUF form to confirm the installation.
