I have issues connecting my system to the PACS


What is it?

I configured my KOELIS system with the PACS but the two entities do not communicate.

How to investigate?

To troubleshoot the problem, follow those steps:

For a PACS connection issue, the most important thing is to check the following informations on the TRINITY and on the PACS:
  1. There are two ethernet ports. Check that the ethernet cable is plugged to the proper ethernet port, configured for the PACS.
  2. Check the AETITLE, Port, IP address configured on TRINITY.
  3. Check the AETITLE, Port, IP address and MAC address or hostname of TRINITY configured on the PACS.
  4. Check the Storage and Q/R authorization with the help of an IT.
  5. Check the authorization for Trinity to communicate through hospital network.

 

On older PROMAP versions, on the "Connectivity" tab, use the part "Multi-Modalities", not the part "US":

How to solve?

A PACS connection issue is almost always a configuration issue between the PACS and the TRINITY, so chances are very high that one of the steps above will solve the issue.
