I get the error 39 when I try to import MRI

When can this issue occur ?

This issue can occur if the customer tried to import MRI not compatible with the TRINITY DICOM Conformance Statement, or there was a DICOMDIR file on the USB stick or CD.

Example of incompatible Transfer Syntax UID : 1.2.840.10008.1.2.4.90 - JPEG 2000 Image Compression (Lossless Only)

How to prevent this issue ?

By default, the Trinity cannot accept all the MRI format.

The DICOM Conformance Statement of Trinity defines the MRI format which could be uploaded on the Trinity. This document could be asked to Koelis Service Team.

If the error appears if you tried to import MRI from Cd or USB stick. Following theses steps to try to fix the issue:

  1. Check if a DICOMDIR file is available on the support. If so, insert the CD in any computer, copy all the patient data without the DICOMDIR file.
  2. If no, check our DICOM conformance statement to know all the compatibilities.

Use a DICOM Viewer software like Weasis to check the DICOM details of MRI, and Dicom Library to know the compatibility (https://www.dicomlibrary.com/dicom/sop/)

Check these details on DICOM Object: to be compared with KOELIS DICOM conformance statement : SOP Class UID & Transfer Syntax UID.

The list of compatible Transfer Syntax UID is:

    • 2.840.10008.1.2 Implicit VR Endian: Default Transfer Syntax for DICOM
    • 2.840.10008.1.2.1 Explicit VR Little Endian
    • 2.840.10008.1.2.1.99 Deflated Explicit VR Little Endian
    • 2.840.10008.1.2.2 Explicit VR Big Endian
    • 2.840.10008.1.2.4.70 JPEG Lossless, Nonhierarchical, First- Order Prediction (Processes 14 [Selection Value 1]): Default Transfer Syntax for Lossless JPEG Image Compression
If the Transfer Syntax UID was different ask the radiologist to change the format to another compatible with the Trinity DICOM Conformance
